Michael Davenport, aged 60, has been taken into custody on charges related to a series of armed robberies across Nashville. According to a press release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Davenport’s most recent alleged crime occurred on Tuesday at a Boost Mobile store on Nolensville Pike, where reports state he brandished a knife and made off with cash from the register.
Detectives from the Robbery Unit, after a thorough investigation, pinpointed Davenport as their primary suspect. Admissions from the suspect himself have been obtained, during which he confirmed his involvement in two additional robberies armed with a knife on Sunday and Monday, at a Dollar General and Love Bound, respectively, both located on Murfreesboro Pike.
