Motorcyclist flown to Nashville hospital after crash during benefit ride

PLEASANT VIEW, Tenn. (WSMV) – A motorcyclist had to be flown to a Nashville hospital after crashing during a benefit ride in Robertson County, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reports the crash happened on the I-24 overpass at Highway 49 just before noon on Sunday. The rider had been participating in the benefit ride honoring Cody Fletcher, who died in a motorcycle crash on Boyles Road on April 28.

The rider had reportedly hit the rear-end of a another vehicle during Sunday’s procession, but officials were unsure if it was another motorcycle or a passenger vehicle…
