Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash During Benefit Ride

PLEASANT VIEW, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – According to officials in Pleasant View, a motorcyclist was critically injured Sunday morning during a benefit ride held in honor of a young man who lost his life in a motorcycle crash earlier this year in Robertson County.

According to Trey Nilms, Assistant Chief of Operations with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, the crash occurred on the I-24 overpass at Highway 49, the first call coming into 911 at 11:56 AM. The rider, participating in a benefit ride for Cody Fletcher, reportedly struck the rear of a motorcycle during the procession.
