NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Woodbine residents are looking for ways to make their neighborhood’s streets safer.
The Woodbine Neighborhood Association is working with Metro leaders to prioritize pedestrian safety along Nolensville Road and Foster Avenue. The association’s co-presidents, McKenzie Beaver and Patrick Garner, said the neighborhood sees a lot of cut-through traffic with cars coming off the interstate and heading on either Nolensville Road or Thompson Lane.

The city has previously helped paint crosswalks on Nolensville Road. The city has also previously approved applications for speed bumps on Peachtree Road, Lutie Street and Whitson Street.
