NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – More than 200,000 pounds of canned beef stew product have been recalled by Hormel Foods Corporation because the product may contain pieces of wood.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall Wednesday.
Hormel Foods Corporation said it received three customer complaints about pieces of wood in the “Dinty Moore Beef Stew” product and notified the FSIS. There have been no reports of injury due to people eating this product, the FSIS said…
