NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A new affordable housing community in Madison officially opened this week, providing homes for more than 200 families who previously lived at the former Brookshire Place Apartments.
The development, known as Birchstone Village, is part of the Metro Development and Housing Agency’s ongoing effort to address Nashville’s housing needs amid a growing population. MDHA partnered with several local organizations, agencies, and nonprofits to complete the project.
