NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro officers responded to Opry Mills Mall over the weekend after a man reportedly flashed a gun during a shoplifting incident.
According to arrest documents, the incident was reported just after 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 1. Mall security officers informed Metro officers that a suspect — later identified as Jared Richardson, 19 — had flashed a gun after a person tried to stop him from shoplifting a hoodie.

Richardson was located and detained in the P.F. Chang’s restroom a short time later.
According to authorities, he appeared to be intoxicated and under the influence of narcotics. As he was being booked into Metro jail, officers reportedly found drug paraphernalia with narcotic residue in his possession…
