DHS removes list naming Nashville, Shelby County ‘sanctuary jurisdictions’

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – An online list posted by the Department of Homeland Security naming Nashville and Shelby County as sanctuary jurisdictions has been removed.

On May 29, the DHS announced that it had submitted a comprehensive list of “cities, counties, and states that are deliberately obstructing the enforcement of federal immigration laws and endangering American citizens.”
