NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Southwest Airlines flight on its way to Dallas was redirected to Nashville on Monday afternoon.
Southwest Airlines confirmed the incident on Tuesday:
“Southwest Airlines Flight 2556 landed safely at Nashville International Airport around noon Monday local time after diverting to address a possible security matter. The flight subsequently continued to Dallas Love Field, arriving just before 4:30 p.m. We appreciate the professionalism of our Flight Crew and apologize to our Customers for the delay.
