Nashville Braces for Weather Crescendo: Showers and Thunderstorms Set to Disrupt Sunny Start

While residents across the city awoke this morning to partly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures near 74°F, forecasters at the National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville are warning that a significant shift in the weather is on the horizon.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will remain pleasant, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 84°F. Winds from the west are expected to stay light, between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Tonight, the city will see partly cloudy conditions with a low around 66°F, and winds will gradually calm into the evening.

However, a more active and potentially disruptive weather pattern is expected to develop beginning Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will likely start before noon and persist through the afternoon, with a 90% chance of precipitation throughout the day.
