Three teens arrested after high-speed chase in stolen SUV; gun and stolen wallet recovered

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A high-speed pursuit involving a stolen SUV on Saturday afternoon ended with the arrest of three suspects, including two 17-year-old males and 18-year-old Donald King. The incident also led to the recovery of a stolen handgun and wallet linked to separate theft cases.

According to Metro Nashville Police, Violent Crimes detectives first spotted a stolen gray Acura MDX speeding out of a 7-Eleven parking lot on White Bridge Road. Officers began tailing the SUV while waiting for backup. The vehicle raced north on Briley Parkway before exiting onto Ashland City Highway, where the suspects, aware of the police presence, began driving recklessly at high speeds.

A police helicopter tracked the SUV from above as it briefly stopped at an apartment complex on Clarksville Pike, then sped off again. Officers deployed spike strips, successfully disabling the vehicle near E Fairview Drive, where all three suspects fled on foot…
