Parent says crosswalk at East Nashville elementary school is becoming dangerous

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – School is out for the summer, but school safety is at the forefront of parents’ minds.

One dad who has a child at Inglewood Elementary said they’ve become increasingly concerned about the crosswalk in front of the school.

Fernel Valdez lives on Sherwood Lane, a three-minute walk from Inglewood Elementary. Being able to walk his daughter to school was a big selling point to live in that neighborhood, but he doesn’t do it anymore…
