NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is facing charges after allegedly threatening to shoot the owner of an Inglewood car dealership over a security deposit on a vehicle last month.
According to the arrest affidavit, 38-year-old Joshua Norris visited Eco Cars on Gallatin Pike in early May to purchase a vehicle for his nephew. Norris left a $2,500 deposit on a white KIA Stinger, but wanted the dealership to fix a piece of plastic that had broken off the car, which the dealership agreed to do, the affidavit states.
The dealership owner told detectives that he had fixed the car and attempted to contact Norris several times to return and complete the purchase. He said Norris finally returned to the dealership on May 9 and said he had already purchased a vehicle from another dealership and wanted his deposit back, according to the affidavit…
