NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Some Hermitage residents are fed up with construction trucks cutting through their neighborhood and speeding, causing safety concerns.
Residents in one neighborhood near Hickory Hill Drive have witnessed a lot of growth, which means there’s also been a lot of construction traffic. Metro Councilmember Jordan Huffman, whose district encompasses the neighborhood, said lately there have been numerous complaints about speeding construction traffic.
“At the end of the day, the speed limit on both of these roads [is] 25 miles per hour,” Huffman said. “The speeds that I’ve personally witnessed have been exceeding that by far.”
