Felon facing federal charges after large drug bust in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A felon is facing federal charges after a large drug bust in Nashville last month, according to the Department of Justice.

Metro Nashville Police officers were conducting routine patrols in the Whites Creek Pike and West Trinity Lane area on June 19 when they spotted Darry Humphrey standing outside the driver’s side door of a Cadillac Escalade in a gas station parking lot.

Officers ran Humphrey’s license plate and found that he had a suspended license. The DOJ said officers then saw Humphrey get into the driver’s seat and drive the vehicle out of the parking lot onto Whites Creek Pike…
