Man arrested after breaking into storage locker, stealing over $40K worth of music equipment, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is charged with burglary after Metro Police said he broke into a storage locker, making away with over $40,000 worth of music equipment.

MNPD said it happened back in April at the Thompson Lane Self Storage in Berry Hill.

Police said Martin and an accomplice drove through the gated facility after a tenant visiting their locker was leaving. From there, police said surveillance catches Martin possibly using a universal key to get into the locker which housed the music equipment…
