‘Operation Gummy Trap’ leads to arrest for illegal drug sales in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is facing charges after detectives said they learned he was authorizing the sale of illegal drugs at a store in Hendersonville.

The Hendersonville Police Department reported the successful execution of “Operation Gummy Trap” against 25-year-old Omar Alazab, the owner of New Shackle Island Market.

The operation took place on June 26, following numerous complaints of vape sales to underage customers, as well as the illegal sale of marijuana and CBD products.
