Hendersonville Store Owner Charged in “Operation Gummy Trap” Sting on Illegal Substance Sales

In Hendersonville, Tennessee, a police operation codenamed “Operation Gummy Trap” has culminated in the arrest of a local store owner for the alleged sale of illegal substances. The Hendersonville Police Department, following several complaints, conducted a sting at the 253 New Shackle Island Rd address, which resulted in a raid on June 26th, as stated in a social media post by the department.

According to the police release, detectives were able to confirm the presence of unlawful materials, which included marijuana, drug paraphernalia, as well as illegal hemp and CBD products. The owner of the store, 25-year-old Omar Alazab, has been charged with Resale of Schedule VI and Drug Paraphernalia.
