MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Law enforcement tracked down a stolen sports car and took two wanted men into custody Saturday as a result of Mt. Juliet’s license plate recognition program.
According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the Guardian Shield LPR system detected a 2025 Ford Mustang — which was reported stolen from Nashville on July 3 and suspected to be involved in other thefts — entering and exiting near Central Pike at the city limits on Saturday, July 12.
Authorities said an officer in the area quickly found the vehicle as it left the city limits and guided members of the Metro Nashville Police Department to its location…
