Woman charged after crash critically injures her two young children in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is facing charges after her two young children were injured in a head-on crash, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD said the crash happened on Harding Pike near Percy Warner Boulevard around 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

Preliminary investigation has revealed Karlisha Norwood, 35, was driving eastbound on Harding Pike, weaving through traffic, before she crossed the double yellow lines and collided head-on with a Toyota Tacoma truck.
