Large police presence during manhunt in Antioch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A large police presence was seen in Antioch early Monday morning after a man fled from a traffic stop.

According to Metro Police, officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on a white Honda Sedan around 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Burnett Road in Old Hickory. The driver allegedly refused to stop for officers and led a Metro helicopter in a loop around Nashville as the vehicle repeatedly entered and exited the interstate.

Nearly 40 minutes later, the vehicle stopped near the Old Hickory Boulevard overpass on Interstate 24 in Antioch.
