NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Mount Zion Baptist Church is taking steps to preserve a piece of history as it acquires Mary’s Bar-B-Que property.
The historic barbecue restaurant is located adjacent to the church’s Jefferson Street campus.
The restaurant, a fixture in the North Nashville community for decades, will not remain open. Instead, the church plans to use the space for additional parking and contribute to the development of the Dream Center, a campus designed to create resources, education, and support for the community…
