NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A child with autism was found walking alone near a busy road in Old Hickory, and neighbors said this isn’t the first time this has happened.
Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to 3319 Old Hickory Blvd. around 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, for reports of a child being left alone.
The arrest affidavit states that the 5-year-old girl was walking toward Old Hickory Blvd. when a man jogging scooped her up before she walked into traffic.
