BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two Chinese nationals are in custody after they allegedly scammed a Williamson County man out of more than half a million dollars.
According to the Brentwood Police Department, the scam was very elaborate and involved multiple layers of realistic deception to mislead the victim.
In this case the suspected scammers were arrested, but not before the Tennessee man lost nearly $650,000.
