Nearly 50 dogs rescued from TN puppy mill being sent to animal shelters for adoption

JOELTON, Tenn. (WSMV) – Almost 50 dogs rescued from a Cheatham County puppy mill earlier this month are now being taken to animal shelters, so they can be adopted.

Animal Rescue Corp said Operation Breaking Point led to the rescue of 113 dogs from horrific conditions at a home in Joelton on July 9.

Inside the home, they said they found dozens of small dogs including Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, Havanese and poodles living in “extremely neglectful” conditions. They also found at least one dog deceased.
