Former Millersville detective charged with perjury, misconduct

MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A former detective with the Millersville Police Department has been charged with perjury and official misconduct

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), 50-year-old Todd Dorris was indicted Wednesday by the Robertson County Grand Jury after a year-long investigation.

Millersville police officer terminated for ‘inappropriate sexual comments’

TBI agents began an investigation on July 16, 2024 into allegations Dorris made false statements while under oath during a Robertson County General Sessions preliminary hearing in May 2024.

Dorris was charged with one count of aggravated perjury and one count of official misconduct. He turned himself into the Robertson County Jail Tuesday and was booked on a $30,000 bond…
