‘Operation Tiny Titans’ rescues 21 animals from breeder in Tennessee

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — “Operation Tiny Titans”, conducted by Animal Rescue Corps (ARC), rescued 21 animals from a backyard breeder.

Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) is a national nonprofit animal protection organization. In partnership with the Portland Police Department and Animal Control, the rescue saved 18 Chihuahuas, one cat, one chicken, and one pig from neglectful conditions in a private residence in Sumner County, Tennessee.

ARC rescuers say they discovered over half of the dogs living in stacked cages, and the rest were loose in a bedroom. They reported finding the pig suffering from extreme neglect with overgrown and curled hooves in her backyard pen.

According to rescuers, the dogs showed signs of abuse and neglect as well, with their severe flea infestation, mange, broken bones, eye injuries and eye infections, broken and missing jaw bones from untreated and advanced dental disease, internal parasites, and dehydration…
