Metro Council members stand behind lawsuit over bill criminalizing ‘sanctuary city’ votes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A group of Metro Nashville Council members is taking the state of Tennessee to court over a new immigration law that went into effect this month, arguing it criminalizes free speech and the democratic process.
