NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 20-year-old Nashville woman was killed after gunfire erupted during a block party Saturday night in East Nashville, according to authorities.
Officers were called around 11:15 p.m. Saturday to reports of gunfire in the 2400 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Officials said Nevaeh Wilson was found with a bullet wound to her lower back. It is believed that she was attempting to run away from the gunfire when she was hit. Wilson was pronounced deceased at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.
