HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Drivers in Hendersonville may notice smoother rides this week as Tennessee Department of Transportation crews work overnight to repave SR-386, also known as the Vietnam Veterans Bypass.
The repaving project is happening between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. to limit disruptions during peak travel hours. Crews are resurfacing the main roadway before turning their attention to several exit ramps, which may be temporarily closed during the overnight work.
As part of the project, Exit 8 will get new wrong-way pavement arrows, and Exit 7 will soon feature a dedicated right-turn lane onto Drakes Creek Road…
