MNPD: Woman sleeping on tracks hit, killed by train in Antioch

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities say a 37-year-old woman died after she was hit by a train Friday evening in Antioch.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said officers responded to the incident at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Hickory Hollow Parkway between Bell Road and Una Antioch Pike.

According to officials, the train’s conductor allegedly told police that he saw two people sleeping on the tracks, adding that a man tried to pull a woman from the tracks, but was unsuccessful…
