Nashville Detectives Apprehend Suspect in Fatal Shooting of Chris Bond II Outside Local Store

The quiet of an early Saturday morning was shattered when shots rang out in Nashville, leading to a man’s tragic death outside a local store. In a turn of events, Nashville detectives have made a significant breakthrough in the case of Chris Bond II, who was fatally shot over the weekend. According to an official report from the Nashville Police Department, specialized investigators have apprehended the suspect, Timothy Lamar Williams, 36, on charges of criminal homicide.

The incident occurred outside the Mapco store on Neelys Bend Road, following which, detectives were quick to act on the information gathered at the scene. Bond, 25, reportedly engaged in a “brief verbal argument near the shooter’s car,” according to witnesses before the shooting at 9:55 a.m., in which Williams is accused of pulling the trigger. In the aftermath, despite the efforts of first responders from Madison Precinct, Bond was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead after being transported to Skyline Medical Center, as per the Nashville Police Depatment.
