NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Time is running out for you to get a free tree to help restore Music City’s tree canopy.
Root Nashville is giving away three free trees to Nashville homeowners. Since its start, the group has helped plant more than 50,000 trees; their goal is 500,000 by the year 2050.

The group is offering a variety of trees to choose from, including the Southern Magnolia, Persimmon, Black Gum, and Canada Red Chokecherry.
