New program to provide free parking to Nashville musicians

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A perk for musicians heading to play gigs around Nashville just got better.

Due to the success of its 60% off musicians discounts, parking technology company Metropolis is now launching what they’re calling the “Park & Play Program” on Friday, Aug. 15.

The new program will reportedly offer 100% free parking for musicians for the next year at 25 lots across the city, which are strategically located near independent music venues.

“Metropolis is constantly thinking about how we can leverage our technology to not only make parking easier for people, but also how we can leverage it do good and support out hometown,” said Ryan Hunt with Metropolis. “Nashville wouldn’t be Music City without local musicians. We want them to know we not only see and appreciate them, but that we also support them.”…
