First hearing in Riley Strain wrongful death lawsuit

(NewsNation) — The first hearing in the wrongful death lawsuit involving a former University of Missouri student who went missing on March 8, 2024, and was found dead two weeks later, was held Tuesday.

Riley Strain, 22, was in Nashville for a fraternity event with his Delta Chi fraternity brothers on March 8 when he went missing after he was asked to leave Luke Bryan’s bar, Luke 32 Bridge.

Strain’s body was discovered in the Cumberland River on March 22.
