Nashville Man Charged with Possession of Illegal Firearms and Drugs After Police Raid

A Nashville man faces multiple charges after authorities searched his residence and discovered illegal firearms and drugs. The Metro Nashville Police Department’s TITANS Unit, supported by the MNPD SWAT team, executed a narcotics search warrant yesterday morning at the Clifton Avenue home of 23-year-old Liantonio Howard. The operation resulted in the confiscation of three guns and a stash of marijuana.

Among the firearms seized from Howard’s home, one handgun was modified with a switch to allow fully automatic fire, and another had been reported as stolen from a vehicle on Players Court last December. The search also uncovered 128 grams of marijuana, as per an official statement released by the Nashville government.

Howard was arrested and is facing charges including drug possession, unlawful possession of a prohibited weapon, felony weapon possession, and theft of a firearm and drug paraphernalia. His bail has been set, at $27,000 and he remains in custody…
