MNPD: 2 injured in South Nashville shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two people were injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Hermitage.

The shooting was reported around 5:31 p.m. on the 300 block of Millwood Drive. According to officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department, both victims — later identified as a 15-year-old and a 30-year-old male — were transported to area hospitals.

Police said the 15-year-old was struck in the foot and the thigh, and the 30-year-old, who was uninvolved, suffered a non-critical neck injury.

Officials said the shooting stemmed from a fight between juveniles. The shooter, who was also a teen, fired shots during the fight and fled the scene. Police are working to identify him…
