CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — In just three months since its inception, the newly formed absconder unit at the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office has picked up over 50 offenders who were either wanted by authorities or failed to show up for court.
Cheatham County officials said before the unit was formed, they often had to rely on other agencies to pick up suspects who were wanted in their county.
