Middle schoolers charged with false reporting, allegedly wrote ‘concerning messages’ and sent photo of gun to peers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An eighth grader has been charged after allegedly sending a picture of a gun to his classmates.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the Meigs Middle School student sent a photo of a shotgun to his peers with the caption “perfect for school shooters.” The messages were reported to school staff, who contacted the MNPD.
