July 30, 2023, marked the end of an era. It was the date the very last Bed Bath & Beyond retail store closed after the chain filed for bankruptcy, after a decline in profitability that led to the company getting stingy and strict with its famous coupons, which nobody liked.
Now, Bed Bath & Beyond is back, with a slightly different name, Bed Bath & Beyond Home. And they promise to honor their coupons, even the ones from years ago!
Where Is The New Bed Bath & Beyond Home Store?
According to USA Today, the new brick-and-mortar store, located in Nashville, Tennessee, opened on Friday, August 8th, with the first 25 customers receiving a free mattress.
What Shoppers Can Expect From the New Bed Bath & Beyond
This store, and other future stores, will be smaller than the ones we remember idling through in years past. Bed Bath & Beyond will still focus on an online-first approach (as many chain retailers do). However, for customers who like to see/ feel/experience things in real life before purchasing them, this will be a big win.
Is Bed Bath & Beyond Planning a Texas Comeback?
