When Colin arrived at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, struggling to breathe, doctors stabilized him for transfer to TriStar Centennial Children’s Hospital in Nashville. As a helicopter crew prepared the flight, a nurse who had been at Colin’s bedside, Dalton, turned to the boy’s mother and said, “I won’t leave him.”
