Michael E. Brown, 40, faces charges of second-degree murder in a case tied to a double overdose tragedy. The victims, Kendra Stillah, 33, and DeeAngelo Hunter, 48, were discovered lifeless in a South 6th Street apartment on July 24. According to a report by the Nashville Police Department, Brown’s indictment includes two counts of second-degree murder, delivery of cocaine, and delivery of fentanyl. These accusations stem from the fatal mix of cocaine and fentanyl that led to the deaths of Stillah and Hunter.
During a subsequent investigation, detectives assigned to the Specialized Investigations Division were able to pinpoint Brown as the suspect. Found guilty on a prior felony cocaine charge in 2012, resulting in an 8-year sentence, Brown now remains behind bars with a $150,000 bond.
