A fire broke out at All Star Recycling, located behind the well-liked Santa’s Pub in Berry Hill, causing a sizeable plume of smoke on Wednesday afternoon. According to WSMV, the Nashville Fire Department quickly attended to the fire, and local law enforcement closed off the vicinity around Bransford Avenue and Craighead Street for safety measures.
Original reports of the location of the incident led to concern for Santa’s Pub, a notable dive bar in the area known for its karaoke nights. However, it became clear that the blaze had started in the aforementioned recycling lot, where a considerable amount of garbage had piled up, as per information from the fire department. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and Santa’s Pub reportedly escaped the incident unscathed.
