Woman dies after argument leads to shooting in Napier area, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Detectives are investigating a shooting in Nashville’s Napier area late Saturday night that resulted in a woman’s death.

The incident took place around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30 in the 80 block of Fain Street, officials said.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the investigation indicates 50-year-old Shereca M. Waters was shot by a woman during an argument that turned physical. The shooter allegedly fled the scene before officers arrived.
