Woman accused of shooting ‘old cowboy revolver’ at victim weeks after threatening to kill victim at Nashville apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is facing charges after she allegedly fired a shot at a victim whom she had threatened to kill about two or three weeks before in Nashville, according to an arrest affidavit.

Officers responded to the Vine Hill Towers following reports of a shot being fired at a woman in the parking lot on Labor Day.

The victim told officers she was walking in the parking lot when 37-year-old Shantel Montgomery came out of a building, pulled out an “old cowboy revolver” and fired a shot at the victim. According to the affidavit, the victim said Montgomery had threatened to kill her just weeks before this incident.
