NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One Nashville pastor with a passion for helping others has started making a difference in a big way with a simple idea: a bench.
Robin Owen told News 2 that she noticed many benches being taken away across Nashville. She’s fighting the problem by making her own benches, and she has inspired other members in the community to do the same.
Owen said that a lot of bus stops and busy roads used to have benches, but not anymore. Not only are there fewer benches, but many of the benches still standing have a rail in the middle, which makes it hard for people to lie down on them.
