NASHVILLE, TN (September 2, 2025) – Detectives have charged Nerika N. Patton, 42, with criminal homicide and gun possession by a convicted felon in connection with Saturday night’s fatal shooting of Shereca M. Waters, 50, outside 87 Fain Street.
The investigation shows Patton and Waters became involved in an argument that turned physical. Waters reportedly punched Patton once in the face, after which Patton pulled a gun and shot Waters before fleeing. Waters died of the gunshot wound Sunday morning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center…
