Felon jailed after being arrested on back-to-back nights in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A felon is in jail after he was arrested on back-to-back nights this week, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD reports 25-year-old Quendez Volland, a felon out of Sumner County, was arrested Tuesday night after he ran from officers while at the scene of a shooting on Burning Tree Drive.

Volland was reportedly carrying a bag with a gun and marijuana inside at the time of the incident. He was arrested and charged with evading and resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, marijuana possession and gun offenses.
