An SUV in the Providence area caught the attention of a Mt. Juliet Police officer, not for its size or make, but because it sported what appeared to be a fake temporary tag. A routine traffic stop quickly spiraled into a probable cause search when K9 Citron signaled something was amiss. The search led to the discovery of a considerable haul: over $4,000 of suspected stolen clothing from Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. The findings, shared in a social media post by the police department, didn’t end there; tucked away inside the vehicle were a large empty tote bag, and a burglary tool meant to disable security tags.
