Annual daffodil giveaway offers free flowers for community spaces

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you want to help make your community brighter, you can do so with the help of the Metro Nashville Beautification Commission’s annual daffodil giveaway.

According to city leaders, daffodils are one way to make public green spaces more beautiful while also helping the local flora. They’re calling on neighborhood organizations or civic groups to order their bulbs to plant in communal spaces.

Starting Monday, the groups can pick up the free daffodil bulbs they order and plant them around their neighborhood or local community spaces.
